Active programs

Our Center administers grant programs that foster the development and adoption of integrated pest management.

IPM Partnership Grants

The IPM Partnership program supports projects that further the mission of the Northeastern IPM Center, address or identify regional IPM priorities, and benefit the northeastern region at large. The current project types are: (1) IPM Working Groups, (2) IPM Issues, and (3) Regional IPM Communications.


Past programs

Northeast Regional Integrated Pest Management (RIPM) Competitive Grants

The RIPM program funded research and extension projects in the region. In 2014, the RIPM program was consolidated into the Crop Protection and Pest Management Competitive Grants Program, administered by USDA NIFA.

Green-Blue Grants

In 2007, the Center ran a one-year minigrant program to address IPM and water quality.

Vegetable IPM Travel Grants

This program helped agricultural professionals in the Northeast learn about and share integrated pest management practices in vegetables and strawberries. As of 2012, it is not currently active.
